So this post is the clarify...
Though the sloppy joes (hamburgers?) were great at our 5 year, we thought it would be nice to have an actual "sit down/dress up" night for our 10 year gathering.
We initially wanted to have our dinner at the college, but unfortunately it is completely booked for EFY groups and so we are looking elsewhere (still being researched) and will get catering = $18 per person.
The rest of the money is going towards:
- rental of location
- invitations
- postage
- ice cream for park social
- park reservation (who knew the park cost $100 to reserve?)
- decorations
- attendants for the catering
- transportation for the catering
- clean-up
- equipment rental
- potential babysitting
- etc. etc. etc.
It's amazing how it adds up.
